What We're Really Building at Resolution Tactics, and Why It Matters
By Shari Pickett
When visitors first walk into our facility, the response is almost always the same: amazement at the 300-degree immersive simulator screens. The technology is impressive. But the technology is not the point.
From the start, we've focused on something more important than the equipment: creating a welcoming training environment. Serious and professional don't have to mean intimidating. Skill development thrives on repetition, clear instruction, and solid fundamentals: grip, stance, and sight alignment.
The simulator complements the range, it doesn't replace it
The 300-degree simulator lets students work through decision-making scenarios and drawing techniques in controlled conditions. When repetition, fundamentals, and scenario practice come together, you can see confidence shift in real time, like a light turning on.
Performance is physiological too
Decision-making under pressure is not just a training problem. It's a nervous-system problem. Upcoming offerings include Mobility & Stress Management sessions that use yoga and breathing techniques, because regulating the nervous system directly supports clarity in the moment.
Who we serve
Resolution Tactics serves law enforcement agencies, professional teams, and civilians through scenario-based training designed to build genuine competency. The space is intentionally a balance of professionalism and approachability: comfortable seating, good coffee, and the kind of environment where real conversations can happen before, during, and after training.
