National Train a Teacher Day: Non-Lethal Self Defense
National Train A Teacher Day (NTATD) 2026 will take place on Saturday, June 20, providing teachers, staff, and administrators with free, comprehensive safety and defensive training. The program empowers participants through a variety of training options — ranging from situational awareness and non-lethal tools to firearms safety — with the goal of improving school safety.
At Resolution Tactics, participants in the non-lethal training course will receive foundational instruction in personal safety, situational awareness, and defensive concepts through classroom discussion, hands-on exercises, and immersive simulator training. Participants will explore non-lethal defensive tools, including Byrna launchers and ASP Defender 2 pepper spray, while learning safe handling, practical application, and decision-making skills in realistic scenarios.
Our scenario-based simulator is designed to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application, allowing teachers and staff to safely step into realistic situations, practice decision-making under pressure, and build confidence in a supportive and controlled environment.
A woman instructor will also be available to work with women participants during the training.
**No live fire, only simulation. We provide the training equipment. You do not need to be a member of USCCA to participate in our training classes.**
